Regis Philbin to leave "Live"

Earlier this week, Regis Philbin announced on "Live With Regis and Kelly" that he was going to be retiring from "Live". The news came as a surprise, even the crew and Kelly Ripa were all blindsided by this news. It doesn't come as a surprise considering that he is about 80 years old. So who is going to be replacing him? Many are saying that Ryan Seacrest could possibly be replacing Regis or even Kelly Ripa's husband, Mark Consuelos. Here is the clip:

What did you think of the new MTV Series, "Skins"?

This Monday, MTV's newest drama series, Skins, premiered with about 3 millions viewers tuning in that night! This is a remake of the controversial and very popular British series of the same name! However, many viewers weren't so pleased with the US version. Many saying that some of the aspects that made the UK version a hit, were lacking on the US. However, the angst, drugs, sex, and alcohol was obviously present throughout the show. Many character's were also changed. For instance, Stanley's name is actually Sid on the UK version and Cadie's name is really Cassie in the UK. But the most drastic change is the fact that one character was actually replaced in the US series. And that is Maxxie, a gay male who was replaced by Tea, a lesbian cheerleader. After I watched the US version, I watched the first episode of the UK version on Netflix and I could tell that basically the whole US episode was a play-by-play of the UK version's first episode. Oops! Britney done it again with her new single, "Hold It Against Me"!

If you haven't heard Britney's new single, you've been living under a rock! This song is spiraling to the top of the Billboard charts. According to billboard.com, Britney's new single has already reached No. 16 on the Pop Song Charts! Britney currently ties with Madonna. As her 1998 single, "Frozen" reached No. 16 as well on March of the same year. "Hold it Against Me" was just released January 11th. And it has been exclusively released to iTunes and it is currently No. 1 on the iTunes chart as well! Her next album will be her 9th album to be released. No word on exactly when her album will be released or even what the name of the album is! But don't worry, as always we'll keep you posted and let you know when we hear any word about Britney's next album! If you haven't downloaded it, you should! The song is basically about, Britney seducing someone at a club and using pick-up lines throughout the chorus. The song is fist-pump worthy as it packs in a ton of electronic beats, auto-tune, but still keeps the Pop sound! Personally, it is my favorite song of the year, so far!
