CBS Axes 7 Shows and Moves A Few To A New Day and Time
The internet has been FLOODED with the news that CBS has released. CBS is canceling not 1, not 2, not 3, no, 7 shows. That's right, CBS axed 7 shows. This includes Ghost Whisperer and Old Christine, which had a viable amount of viewers. Also Miami Medical which premiered last month is already canceled and won't air another season. Cold Case, Numb3rs, Accidentally on Purpose and Gary Unmarried were all canceled. Not only is CBS pulling this off but they're also moving a few shows to a new slot. Big Bang will be moved to Thursday nights at 8pm for a lead in to a new comedy starring William Shatner, "$%!% My Dad Says", or "Bleep My Dad Says" as it will be referred to in promos. Two and a Half Men has been renewed for next season, and yes Charlie Sheen will be in next season's episodes. Followed after THM is the remake of the classic, Hawaii Five-O. Survivor has also been moved, instead will be seen on Wednesdays next season. CSI: NY has been moved to Friday Nights, and CSI: Miami has been moved to Sunday Nights. New shows such as Bleep My Dad Says and Hawaii Five-O, which I mentioned before, Mike and Molly, another comedy. New drama shows include, Blue Bloods, starring Tom Selleck, and The Defenders starring Jim Belushi. Hey, at least there isn't another CSI. Jeez how many of those do they have, seriously? The only complaint I have is why move Big Bang? That's stupid. They should've moved THM to Thursdays, not Big Bang. And I hate to see Ghost Whisperer go, I'm going to miss that show. Anyway, I'm sort of glad that Gary Unmarried is cancelled I never liked that show. Tune in the next couple of weeks, to hear our point of view on this on our first podcast episode!

Disney Channel finishes taping last Hannah Montana episode
Last night, Miley Cyrus and the gang finished taping their last scenes of the successful Disney Channel show, Hannah Montana, which grew a huge audience, and eventually would make Miley Cyrus a very popular teen star. This March, Disney Channel confirmed that Hannah Montana would be taping its last season this year. The last season would be titled "Hannah Montana Forever" on Disney Channel. The last season is set to air in July and the series finale is set to air sometime next spring. Throughout the series, we watched Miley Cyrus, Emily Osment, Michell Musso, and the rest of the young cast grow up right before our eyes. Keep in mind Miley was only 12 when she taped her pilot episode. After taping the last scenes, the cast of HM had a "farewell" party at h.wood nightclub in Hollywood. A source tells E! Online, "Miley looked so happy when the DJ played 'Party in the USA,' When the hit came on, she sang to her song and danced through the crowd." Well, I can say I loved the show, I hate to see it go, however, we knew the pink slip would be coming since Miley is going on and doing better things, more on this on our FIRST podcast of "Pop Expedition"!
Introducing our new logo!
You see that picture up there... top left... that is our new logo and podcast name. It's called "Pop Expedition"! Now you're wondering why we called it this, it's a little edgy, and it's a little creative. Here's an explanation of the name.
Pop - We'll be covering pop culture, meaning TV, movies, music, off the wall things that's going on in LA, and NYC!
Expedition - It's like a journey for me and my friends and family my age or close to my age. We're trying to go through life as a teen as well as young adults. We're experiencing an expedition and it won't ever end. There's always bumps in the road, but if we try and have hope and faith, we'll be able to get through it.

Betty White's SNL Episode brings in the bacon!
This Saturday, Saturday Night Live welcomed Betty White as the host and my was she awesome. This lady is absolutely phenomenal and in fact, she is so phenomenal the episode got a 8.8 rating, or 66% of American homes watched this particular episode, including myself. Keep in mind, this past Presidential Inauguartion of Barack Obama brought in a whopping 9.0 rating, so in other words folks, it was a huge hit and I'm sure this show will define the year 2010 in television. If you didn't watch the episode, folks you missed out on an outstanding episode. From the opening skit/monologue all the way to the credit crawl it was absolutely PHENOMENAL! And I hope and pray that NBC will release this episode on DVD, I know I'll pick it up for sure if it's ever released! Take a look at some of my favorite skits that I laughed my a** off at.
